One storm, hour by hour

From the first warning
to a clear driveway.

This is a single overnight storm on one of our routes — the same four hours that repeat every time it snows.

The warning lands.

Environment Canada posts a snowfall warning for the GTA. Our dispatch has been tracking it on four models since yesterday afternoon.

What we do

Every square metre,
accounted for.

One contractor for the whole property — from the first flake to the spring cleanup. No subcontractor roulette, no surprise invoices.

De-icing & salting

Treated brine, straight rock salt or pet-safe blends, applied on a temperature curve so you never over-salt or slip through a freeze-thaw.

Snow hauling & removal

When the banks eat your parking spots, we load and truck it off-site to an approved dump — overnight, so you never lose a business day.

Sidewalks & entrances

Municipal-compliant sidewalk clearing, fire routes and accessible ramps — where most slip-and-fall claims begin.

Risk & liability shield

Time-stamped service logs, weather records and application rates archived for 24 months. If a claim lands on your desk, the evidence is already filed.

The difference

Same storm.
Two very different mornings.

Every snowfall forces the same choice. Here is how it actually plays out on your property.

Why us

We move before
the storm does.

Most contractors wait for snow to stop. We watch four weather models, stage equipment the night before, and start clearing while the flakes are still falling — which is exactly why our sites open on time.

Pre-storm staging

Equipment is positioned on or near your property before the first flake. No travel time, no queue behind twelve other clients.

Live GPS & photo proof

Every visit lands in your inbox with timestamps, before/after photos and salt tonnage applied. Total transparency, zero phone tag.

Owned fleet, employed crews

34 units and 60 trained operators on payroll. We never sublet your site to a stranger with a pickup and a plow.

How it works

From storm alert to clear pavement

A protocol refined over eighteen Ontario winters.

  2. 2

    Storm forecasting

Dispatch monitors four models. The moment they forecast 3 cm or more, crews are notified and equipment is fuelled and staged.

Service trigger

We roll at 3 cm.

Most GTA contracts do not move until 8 cm — by then your driveway is already a job. We trigger at 3 cm, which is roughly one hour of steady snowfall, so the accumulation never gets ahead of the equipment. Every single storm that reaches it, we are on your street.

Prefer we come out on any measurable accumulation at all? That is our zero-tolerance program — standard on commercial, available on residential.

  • Unlimited above 3 cm
  • No per-storm fee
  • Zero-tolerance available

We don't count your visits.

Plenty of contractors sell you a season and quietly cap it — twelve clearings, then you're back to paying per storm at peak-of-winter rates. Some Ontario winters bring fifteen clearable snowfalls. Some bring forty. Either way, your price is the same one you signed in November.

  • No visit cap
  • No per-storm fees
  • No peak-rate surcharge
  • No fuel levy

Property managers who stopped worrying

“We manage nine plazas across Peel. Snow Removal Canada is the first contractor in a decade where I've never once had a tenant call me at 6 AM about a lot. The photo reports alone are worth the contract.”

“Last winter went long and my old company hit their visit limit in February. This crew just kept coming. Same price in April as the day I signed.”
Sarah PatelFacilities Manager · Northbridge Logistics, Brampton
“Our insurer asked for slip-and-fall documentation after a claim. I forwarded their service log — timestamps, salt rates, photos — and the claim was closed in eleven days.”

Is it really unlimited, or is there a catch?

Genuinely unlimited. Every seasonal plan covers every qualifying snowfall between November 15 and April 15 — whether that's twelve storms or forty. There is no visit counter, no per-storm invoice and no peak-rate surcharge. The only thing that changes your price mid-season is you asking us to add services.

What snowfall triggers a visit?

Residential plans trigger at 3 cm of accumulation — well below the 8 cm most GTA contracts wait for, and roughly one hour of steady snowfall. Every storm that reaches 3 cm is a visit, with no limit on how many visits a season contains. Commercial sites go lower still: a zero-tolerance program where we service on any measurable accumulation — most retail and medical clients pick zero-tolerance for liability reasons, and it is available on residential too.

How fast do you respond once it starts?

Crews are staged before the storm, so clearing begins during the event, not after. Contracted sites are guaranteed complete within 2 hours of snowfall ending, and always before 6:00 AM for morning-open properties.

Do you come back after the city plow blocks my driveway?

Yes. Windrow clearing is included in every residential plan at no extra charge. If a municipal plow re-buries your entrance after our visit, we return the same day — and it doesn't count against anything, because nothing is being counted.

Is salt included, or billed separately?

Included in seasonal plans up to a generous annual tonnage that covers a normal Ontario winter. Per-application billing is available if you prefer to control material usage yourself — some industrial clients do.

What happens if my property is damaged?

We photograph and stake every site before the season so pre-existing damage is documented. In the rare case our equipment causes damage, it's repaired at our expense in the spring — no arguments, no deductible to you. We carry $5M in general liability.

Can I still sign up mid-winter?

Yes, subject to route capacity, and we pro-rate seasonal pricing from your start date. That said, we cap contracts per route to protect service times — popular zones like Vaughan and Oakville typically fill by mid-November.
